Circle of Friends Home

The Circle of Friends Home is a "home away from home" for those families who live out of the area. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Relatives and friends of cancer patients requiring accommodations have priority. No children permitted. No smoking permitted. Following are some of the features being offered at this Home:

• Relaxing lakefront home for families and relatives who live out of the area
• Four semi-private rooms
• Guests must be willing to share a
  room with another guest of the same gender
• Twin beds
• Rates are $15.00 per night. (Effective February 15, 2003, rate will increase to $20.00)

A visitor shuttle is available to transport guests to and from the hospital. For more information, please stop by the hospital Main Lobby Information Desk.

Ronald McDonald House of Orlando

The Ronald McDonald House of Orlando provides a "home away from home" for families who live out of the area and are here for treatment for their ill child. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Relatives and friends of ill children requiring accommodations have priority. No smoking permitted. All families wanting to stay at the Ronald McDonald House must be referred to the Ronald McDonald House via a fax from the treating hospital, physician staff, or guest services.

There are thirteen rooms available at $10 per room per night. Some of the amenities are:

• Gathering room
• Shared full-size kitchen and dining room
• Playroom for children
• Laundry room
• Quiet library
• Children's computer room
• Outdoor porches with rocking chairs
